Job summary

Top Gun Staffing Inc. in Mobile, AL seeks a Commercial Project Manager to lead ground-up retail construction from preconstruction through closeout. This office-based role requires periodic travel and close collaboration with owners, design teams, and field leadership.

The successful candidate will manage schedules, budgets, contract administration, and procurement while delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. A related bachelor’s degree and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
• Proven PM experience on ground-up retail projects
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, RFIs, and submittals
• Strong leadership and communication skills; able to manage multiple priorities
• Willingness to travel to active projects

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout
• Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, cost projections, and overall project plans
• Manage contract administration, change orders, RFIs, submittals, procurement, and project documentation
• Prepare bid packages and subcontractor scopes of work
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, project teams, and field leadership
• Track material procurement, lead times, and other resources required to maintain schedule
• Monitor actual costs against estimates and manage project financial performance
• Review project progress for compliance with plans, specifications, quality standards, and schedule
• Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with owners, design teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
• Identify issues early and drive them through resolution
• Manage punch list, turnover, financial closeout, and final project completion
