Job summary

Birge & Held is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead on-site, daily management of new ground-up multifamily projects in Cincinnati. You will coordinate subcontractors, schedule deliveries, read construction documents, and ensure safety and quality to meet owner requirements.

Qualifications include 5+ years in ground-up multifamily, OSHA training, a valid driver’s license, and proficiency with MS Office/Project. The role features a flexible hybrid schedule and robust employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in ground up multifamily construction.
• Experience reading and interpreting construction documents and plans.
• Ability to coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and inspections; manage safety and quality.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and OSHA training compliance.

Responsibilities

• On-site management, coordination, and successful completion of ground up projects.
• Schedule vendor deliveries, coordinate subcontractors, and maintain safety.
• Lead weekly site meetings and manage documentation and change orders.
• Ensure adherence to plans, specs, and municipality/owner requirements.
• Communicate project status with stakeholders and field staff.
