Job summary

RWE Design Build in Downers Grove, IL is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead our ground-up projects across the Chicagoland area. You will manage field operations, monitor schedules, and perform frequent onsite check-ins from our Downers Grove office.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of commercial ground-up experience, OSHA 30, and proficiency with Procore, MS Outlook, Excel and document management systems. Local travel is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial ground-up construction experience required.
• OSHA 30 Certification needed.
• Procore, MS Outlook, Excel, Word and Dropbox proficiency expected.
• Ability to interpret plans, specs and codes.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with plans, specs, site, codes and inspections.
• Coordinate and maintain construction schedules with subs and PMs.
• Ensure quality and safety standards on site.
• Lead meetings with subcontractors to coordinate activities.
• Manage material deliveries and look ahead schedules.
• Maintain daily logs, photos and progress reports.
• Handle closeouts and project paperwork.
• Attend required meetings for timely completion.
