Job summary

RWE Design Build in Downers Grove, IL is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead our ground-up projects across the Chicagoland area. The role requires strong scheduling, site coordination and field leadership to ensure projects meet drawings, specs and safety standards.

Responsibilities include daily site oversight, coordinating with subcontractors, owners and architects, maintaining look-ahead schedules, documenting progress in Procore, and timely closeouts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial ground-up construction experience.
• Must be able to create initial project schedule and review weekly with subs and stakeholders.
• Strong technical, communication and computer skills including Procore, MS Outlook, Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with plans, specs, site and local codes.
• Coordinate and maintain construction schedules to align with drawings and specs.
• Ensure quality standards are met throughout the project.
• Lead daily/weekly meetings with subcontractors to coordinate activities.
• Ensure material delivery aligns with the schedule.
• Maintain daily logs and progress reports in Procore.
• Attend job meetings and coordinate inspections and closeouts.
