UF Health Jacksonville is seeking a Transport EMT to safely transport patients by ground ambulance under supervision of a paramedic or RN. You will perform assessments, provide basic care, and ensure a safe, efficient transport environment while coordinating with hospital teams.

The role includes assisting in trauma and ED as needed, handling communications, navigation, and equipment operation, and participating in community outreach and education efforts.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Florida EMT certification required; BLS CPR.
• Valid Florida driver’s license; insurable by hospital auto carrier.
• EVOC course completion required within 30 days of hire.
• Within six months: PHTLS, AMLS, FEMA IS-100/IS-200; EVOC refreshers.

• Safely transports patients under supervision according to protocols.
• Drives ambulance and assists with EMT tasks.
• Performs monitoring per unit standards.
• Reports abnormal findings to supervisor.
• Operates and troubleshoots equipment as needed.
