The ES Transport EMT will assist the Paramedic in safe transport and treatment of patients, with opportunities to work in Emergency Departments as needed and to provide care under RN supervision in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
• (EVOC) Emergency Vehicle Operations Course must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
• (EMT-State) Emergency Medical Technician
• (DL) Driver License

Responsibilities

• Assist the Paramedic in rendering safe and effective treatment and transport of patients
• May function within Emergency Departments as needed
• Provide quality care under the direction of a RN
• Serve as a member of the Healthcare team through active communication and documentation
