Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector seeks a Ground SW Engineer: C/C++ Simulation in Chandler, AZ, onsite only. You will develop and integrate ground support software, simulators, and test tools in a Linux-classified environment, with emphasis on object-oriented C/C++ and Java support.

The role involves requirements, design docs, peer reviews, and integration activities. Level 3/4 candidates require DoD Secret clearance and relevant experience; leadership opportunities exist.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in STEM with specified years of experience or equivalent
• Active DoD Secret clearance or higher required
• Professional experience developing object-oriented software in C/C++ in a Linux environment
• Experience with simulators, ground support equipment, test tools, and mission-critical applications

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate GSE software, simulators, and test tools in a Linux-based environment
• Design, implement, and test object-oriented C/C++ software
• Collaborate with embedded, GNC, systems, and test teams for integration and delivery
• Provide technical leadership and guide junior engineers
