Job summary

OHO Group in Los Angeles is seeking a Ground Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain the software infrastructure for satellite operations, including telemetry processing and spacecraft commanding.

You will own ground software services, deploy cloud-based infrastructure with AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate across software, mission operations, and engineering teams to ensure reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience developing software systems, services, APIs or applications.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, routing, VPNs and secure connectivity.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines and modern software development practices.
• Experience developing services that process real-time data and interact with relational or time-series databases.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and programming languages such as Python or C++.
• Strong problem solving skills and experience troubleshooting across complex software systems.
• Experience with satellite ground systems, RF infrastructure or mission critical operations is advantageous.

We are working with a well-funded aerospace company seeking a Ground Software Engineer to develop and maintain the software infrastructure supporting its satellite operations.

This is a hands‑on engineering opportunity within a growing team, where you'll build the systems responsible for communication between spacecraft and mission control.
