Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 12 months related experience and/or training.
• Must obtain a valid driver license.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to follow safety instructions and wear PPE.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload UPS flights.
• Lift cargo weighing up to 70 lbs when loading and unloading aircraft, carts, and containers.
• Read and interpret aircraft load sheets, checked baggage tags, and cargo labels.
• Operate a computer to enter and retrieve data for weight and balance purposes.
• Complete safety checklists for motorized equipment.
• Drive and operate motorized equipment, such as tugs and belt loaders.
• Use signalling devices to communicate with co-workers or flight crew.
