Lucas Tree Experts in Belfast, ME is hiring a Ground Operations Technician / Arborist Trainee. No experience required; on-the-job training provided. $19–$21 hourly depending on experience; full-time, year-round.

You will learn felling, climbing, rigging, equipment operation, and vegetation management; paid training for licenses/certifications; opportunities for advancement and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with HS Diploma/GED
• Willingness to learn to run bucket trucks and operate equipment safely
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work 45 hours per week in outdoor conditions
• Able to carry 75 lbs and work at varying heights

Responsibilities

• Manual removal of vegetation from work areas
• Pesticide application
• Safely operating forestry equipment (skidders, mowers, chainsaws, ATVs)
• Performing line clearance, pruning, and removals
