Qualifications

• 1+ years in a fast-paced environment (logistics, retail, warehouse, or fulfillment).
• Proven or aspiring leadership experience; coaching/training peers is a plus.
• Solid understanding of warehouse/supply chain processes and performance metrics (e.g., accuracy, cycle times, throughput).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with emphasis on safety details.
• Background check and valid driver's license required for occasional site travel.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work outdoors.
• Availability 6 AM–10 PM, 7 days/week, up to 40 hours.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently locate, pick, and pack orders per SOPs.
• Conduct weight and accuracy checks before loading onto aircraft.
• Assist with morning setup; keep area clean, organized, safe, and equipment functional.
• Perform daily inventory counts and care for stock and equipment.
• Support Operations Team Lead and supervise frontline team members.
• Manage onsite team activities and operations when Team Lead or Tier 2 managers are unavailable.
• Champion site safety protocols and help resolve operational incidents.
• Monitor daily throughput and help hit key supply chain goals.

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated, hands‑on Ground Operations Specialist to join our fast-paced fulfillment and delivery team. In this role, you will be on the front lines actively performing picking, packing, and aircraft loading activities while simultaneously stepping up to support the Operations Team Lead in daily supervisory duties. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic settings, leads by example, and is looking to develop their leadership career. A foundational understanding of supply chain processes and performance metrics is highly desirable.

Various shifts are available. Core hours are 8:00am-8:00pm, but hours will vary between 6:00am-10:00pm with a max of 40 hours a week. Hours are dependent upon business needs, personal preference, and may vary between a traditional 8 hours, 5 days a week or even 12, 12, 12, 4.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently locate, pick, and pack orders according to strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Conduct rigorous weight and accuracy checks before securely loading packages onto delivery aircraft.
• Assist with morning setup, ensuring the operational area is clean, organized, safe, and that all equipment is fully functional.
• Perform daily inventory counts and maintain meticulous care of stock and equipment.
• Act as the right hand to the Operations Team Lead, helping to monitor workflow and guide frontline team members.
• Confidently manage onsite team activities and daily operations when the Team Lead or Tier 2 managers are unavailable.
• Champion site safety protocols, lead by example, and assist in the immediate resolution of any operational incidents.
• Keep a pulse on daily throughput and support the team in hitting key supply chain goals.

Qualifications

• 1 or more years of experience in a fast‑paced environment (logistics, retail, warehouse, or fulfillment).
• Proven experience or strong desire to step into a leadership role; experience coaching or training peers is a plus.
• Good understanding of standard warehouse/supply chain processes and exposure to performance metrics (e.g., order accuracy, cycle times, throughput).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a heavy focus on safety details.
• Ability to pass a background check and maintain a valid driver's license for occasional travel between sector sites.
• Ability to work outdoors, stand for long periods, and comfortably lift up to 35 lbs.
• Availability required between 6 AM and 10 PM, 7 days/week (up to 40 hours per week). Adherence to strict work hours is mandatory.
