Randstad Digital is hiring a Ground Operations Lead (Tier 1) in North Richland Hills, TX. This hybrid role centers on keeping the flight line running smoothly through hands-on leadership and front-line mentoring.

You will oversee precise loading, weight and balance checks, and inventory readiness while supporting the Operations Team Lead. A strong safety mindset and the ability to coordinate cross-functionally are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of fast-paced experience in logistics, aviation, warehousing, or retail operations.
• Valid drivers license with clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a standard background check.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather.
• FAA Part 107 certification welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

• Flight-ready execution: perform precise pick & pack and aircraft loading with quality checks.

This role is a hybrid powerhouse position designed for an ambitious, hands-on doer ready to master high-tempo delivery workflows and step up into leadership.

From precision aircraft loading to stepping in for the Operations Team Lead, you will drive frontline excellence, mentor peers, and keep our aviation network running seamlessly.

Responsibilities

Flight-Ready Execution

• Precision Pick & Pack: Fulfill orders fast and flawlessly, following standard procedures to maintain 100% order accuracy.


• Aircraft Loading & Quality Checks: Run strict weight, balance, and package integrity inspections before staging and securing cargo onto delivery aircraft.


• Launchpad Setup & Care: Prep the flight line daily-inspect gear, maintain zero-defect equipment readiness, and manage cycle counts and inventory integrity.

Frontline Leadership

• Right-Hand to the Lead: Partner with the Operations Team Lead to orchestrate shift workflows, balance bottlenecks, and boost throughput metrics.


• Step-Up Supervisory Authority: Confidently take the wheel to manage daily operations and frontline crew members when senior leads are off-site.


• Culture of Safety: Lead from the front by setting the gold standard for ground safety, hazardous protocols, and swift incident resolution.

What You Bring to the Team

• Operational Grit: 1-2+ years of fast-paced experience in logistics, aviation, warehousing, or retail operations.


• Leadership Drive: A natural ability to motivate others, coach team members on best practices, and run point when challenges arise.


• Metric-Driven Mindset: Basic familiarity with core performance metrics (cycle time, throughput, fulfillment accuracy).


• Communication Skills: Clear, calm communication, especially when coordinating high-focus safety procedures.


• Mobility: A valid driver's license and clean driving record (for travel between sector sites), plus ability to pass a standard background check.


• Physical Stamina: Comfort working outdoors in all weather, standing for full shifts, lifting up to 35 lbs repeatedly, and maneuvering rolling carts (up to 160 lbs) up access ramps.


• Schedule Availability: Open schedule availability within our operational window (6:00 AM - 10:00 PM, Monday-Sunday).


• Bonus: FAA Part 107 certification is a welcome perk, but not required. Comprehensive local training is fully provided!
