Job summary

Landline Company is seeking Ground Handling Agents (Ramp Drivers) for the Boston area, operating a sedan or pickup to escort a motor coach between Framingham and Boston Logan International Airport, including the airport’s Air Operations Area (AOA).

This safety-critical role requires attention to detail, focus during extended driving periods, and the ability to work around 3:30 AM on any day, including weekends and holidays. Training occurs in Framingham/Natick with deployment to Logan Airport.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.
• Experience driving in urban and highway environments preferred.
• Ability to pass a preemployment DOT drug test including marijuana and to participate in random drug and alcohol testing.
• Ability to pass a preemployment criminal background check to obtain a badge to access secure airport locations.
• Ability to work at approximately 3:30 AM any day of the week, including Sunday, Saturday, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sedan or pickup to escort and support a motor coach traveling between Framingham, MA and Boston Logan International Airport, including operations within the airport’s AOA.
• Drive on the ramp, guide vehicles, marshal, and coordinate bus movements in a busy airport environment.
• Maintain safety procedures and company protocols while delivering passenger service.
• Complete training in Framingham/Natick before deployment to Logan Airport.

The Role

We’re seeking Ground Handling Agents (Ramp Drivers) to join our Boston-area team. In this role, you will operate a sedan or pickup truck to escort and support a motor coach traveling between Framingham, MA and and Boston Logan International Airport, including operations within the airport’s Air Operations Area (AOA).

This is a hands-on, safety-critical role that involves driving on the ramp, guiding vehicles, marshaling, and coordinating bus movements within a busy airport environment. The ideal candidate is highly attentive, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced aviation setting.

Training will be in Framingham/Natick until deployed to work at Logan Airport (1 Harborside Drive, East Boston, MA 02128.)

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
• Experience driving in urban and highway environments preferred
• Ability to maintain focus and situational awareness during extended driving periods
• Ability to communicate clearly with drivers and operations staff and execute customer service greetings with passengers
• Ability to pass a preemployment DOT drug test including marijuana and to participate in random drug and alcohol testing (this is aUSDOT safety-sensitive position)
• Ability to pass a preemployment criminal background check to obtain a badge to access secure airport locations
• Ability to work at approximately 3:30 AM any day of the week, including Sunday, Saturday, and holidays.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and company protocols
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and professional demeanor
• Reliable personal transportation to and from the work location required
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
• Experience in Airport Operations or Customer Service at Boston Logan preferred
