Healthcare United is seeking a Plastic Surgeon to launch and build a brand-new plastic surgery program in East Central Illinois. This on-site role in Effingham offers autonomy within a supportive regional health system and modern facilities.

The position blends reconstructive and cosmetic work, with program-building autonomy, a strong earning potential, and institutional backing. Visa sponsorship is not available, and employment is full-time.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Plastic Surgery required.
• Illinois medical license eligibility required.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Establish and grow a comprehensive plastic surgery program within the community.
• Perform reconstructive procedures including breast, skin cancer, and post-surgical reconstruction.
• Develop a cosmetic practice aligned with your interests and market demand.
• Help define OR block time, clinic workflows, staffing, and equipment needs.
• Collaborate with general surgery, ENT, dermatology, and primary care on referrals.
• Provide consultations, follow-up care, and treatment planning.
