Job summary

Mercyhealth in Rockford, IL seeks a Plastic Surgeon to establish an employed practice with leadership and staff support. The role uses the EPIC EMR and benefits from extensive referral sources to grow a diversified portfolio including hand, skin care, trauma, breast reconstruction, and cosmetic procedures.

Call requirements are 2 weeks per month, with a comprehensive benefits package and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in a relevant field.
• Hand experience is a plus.
• MD/DO board certified/board eligible.
• Skilled at providing exceptional care.
• Clear communication and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Build your individual practice as an employed physician with the support of operational leaders and staff.
• Work with EPIC EMR to deliver patient care.
• Leverage vast multi-specialty referral sources to grow the practice.
• Provide care across hand, skin care, trauma, breast reconstruction, and cosmetic areas.
• Share on-call responsibilities (2 weeks per month).
