Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a production team member for the Ground Dark Meat area on the 2nd shift. You will guide Team Members, ensure compliance with management directives, and help setup lines for production while maintaining company standards.

Responsibilities include completing log sheets, monitoring weights, performing glaze checks, and reporting changes to Management. You must meet attendance and background requirements and be able to lift up to 70 pounds.

Qualifications

• Maintain 6.5 attendance points or less.
• No discipline within the last 6 months of the posting.
• No successful job bid within the last 6 months (unless newly established).
• Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job (lift up to 70 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Guide Team Members and ensure compliance with management directives.
• Set up lines for production and ensure lines run in control per company standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and maintain good housekeeping in the Ground Dark Meat area.
• Complete various log sheets and monitor condemned pounds, notifying Management of changes.
• Be prepared for possible warm or cold temperatures and physical tasks as required.
