Job summary

Jobvite, Inc. in Tolleson, AZ seeks a Ground Beef B-Shift Quality Assurance Technician to monitor food safety and quality procedures on the floor, report deficiencies, and help correct them to maintain compliance with SOPs, SSOPs, and GMP.

You will coordinate with USDA when records are requested and support QA investigations. You will work with production staff to verify meat product specifications, assist in data collection, and perform related duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Able to work independently.
• Able to work Monday through Friday, and weekends as needed.
• Comfortable working in a cold environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Monitor SOPs, SSOPs, and GMP compliance of associates; perform HACCP procedures to comply with federal regulations.
• Work with USDA and present records to them at the agency’s request.
• Review records to ensure accuracy and be held accountable for their accuracy.
• Aid QA supervisor and management in gathering data for investigations.
• Monitor meat product specifications with production staff and correct deficiencies.
• Assist in other duties as needed.
