Job summary

Abacus Technology Corporation seeks a Systems Engineer to provide ground avionics engineering support for the AFLCMC C3I&N Directorate at Eglin AFB. This is a full-time position requiring DoD-domain expertise and robust data link knowledge.

The role involves configuring and operating Tactical Data Link systems, presenting technical briefs, and occasional travel to USAF and FMS locations. U.S. citizenship and Top Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

3+ years in systems engineering including at least 5 years in a DoD environment.
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
In-depth knowledge of LINK-16, SADL and other Tactical Data Link systems and message protocols.
Experience with JICO tools, JTRS radios, fighter aircraft (F-16, F-15, F-35), CRC and AOC.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering and Tactical Data Link support.
Set up and operate equipment for fielding and training of Tactical Data Links.
Operate Tactical Radios, including MIDS Family of Terminals.
Operate spectrum analyzers, scopes, volt meters and related test equipment.
Train military and civilian personnel on data link operations and troubleshooting on ground systems.
