Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Austin, TX is seeking a Restaurant Cook to oversee multiple stations (grill, fryer, food prep) and ensure quality meals for guests. You’ll work with a team to prepare, dress, wrap and serve orders while keeping stations clean and organized.

The role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays, with opportunities to cross-train across stations and participate in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Follow directions and maintain hygiene standards.
• Basic math and reading skills to handle orders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food orders to meet quality standards.
• Handle food prep, grill and fryer duties as assigned.
• Dress items to order and pack menu items.
• Clean up including trash disposal, mopping and sanitizing.
