Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a professional groomer; leadership experience preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the desire to lead, train and develop people.
• HS diploma or GED preferred; formal grooming program experience valued.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with pet parents.
• Expert knowledge of breeds, grooming requirements and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day grooming salon operations and staffing.
• Recruit, train, and supervise grooming staff; provide coaching and evaluations.
• Create and manage grooming schedules to maximize productivity.
• Monitor revenue, customer satisfaction and productivity; take action to improve.
• Provide expert grooming services and ensure safety and sanitation standards.
