Job summary

Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. is seeking a Grooming Salon Leader in Maple Grove, MN to oversee salon operations and coach grooming staff. You will perform expert grooming services and lead a team to deliver exceptional care for pets and satisfaction for pet parents.

You will recruit, train, and mentor a team, optimize schedules, and collaborate with store leadership to drive salon performance. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring leadership and hands-on grooming excellence.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as a professional groomer and/or completion of a technical grooming training program.
• Strong leadership skills with desire to train and develop people, plus prior salon management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with pet parents and team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day grooming salon operations and scheduling.
• Recruit, hire, and supervise grooming staff; provide coaching and evaluations.
• Create efficient grooming schedules to maximize capacity and meet demand.
• Monitor revenue, customer satisfaction, and productivity; act on improvements.
