The role emphasizes leadership, adherence to safety standards, and ongoing development of salon talent. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of grooming experience and strong leadership abilities, with a focus on driving salon performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as a professional groomer and/or completion of a technical grooming training program
• Strong leadership skills with the desire to lead, train, and develop people (1–2 years in salon management preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communication with pet parents and team members

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day grooming salon operations and staffing
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise grooming staff with coaching and evaluations
• Create grooming schedules to optimize capacity and meet customer demand
• Monitor revenue, customer satisfaction, and productivity to drive improvements
• Collaborate with store management to achieve sales targets and salon objectives
• Provide exceptional customer service and grooming recommendations
• Perform professional grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, and styling
• Maintain a clean, safe grooming area and disinfect tools as required
