Job summary

Petco is seeking a Grooming Salon Leader to manage operations and lead a team of groomers in a fast-paced grooming salon. You will deliver expert bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts, and styling to pets while ensuring an outstanding customer experience and adherence to Petco policies.

You will recruit and train staff, optimize schedules, monitor performance metrics, and stay current with grooming trends. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication, and a passion for animal

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as a professional groomer; leadership or mentoring experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; strong grooming knowledge and breed-specific cuts.
• Excellent communication with pet parents and grooming team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day grooming salon operations and scheduling.
• Recruit, train, and supervise grooming staff; provide coaching and evaluations.
• Perform professional grooming services to high standards.
• Ensure safety and wellbeing of pets while in care.
