Job summary

Petco is seeking a Grooming Salon Leader to direct salon operations and lead grooming teams. You will deliver high-quality grooming services while fostering a positive, safe environment for pets and staff.

You will recruit and train staff, manage schedules, ensure exceptional customer service, and drive salon performance through leadership and coaching, in a fast-paced retail setting. This role offers competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a professional groomer and/or completion of a technical grooming training program.
• Strong leadership and people-development skills with 1–2 years of salon-management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day grooming salon operations, optimize workflows, scheduling, and inventory.
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise grooming staff, provide coaching and evaluations.
• Create efficient grooming schedules to maximize capacity and customer service levels.
• Monitor revenue, customer satisfaction, and team productivity; develop improvement plans.
