Job summary

Omni Mount Washington Resort & Spa in Bretton Woods, NH is seeking an experienced snow groomer to operate grooming equipment and maintain optimal snow quality throughout the season.

The role requires at least 2 years of Alpine grooming experience, the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and a commitment to safety. Training and certification programs are provided, with full-time, part-time, and on-call positions available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Alpine grooming experience.
• Comfortable operating machinery in extreme weather on mountain terrain.
• Skilled in operating heavy grooming equipment.
• Must complete Groomer Training and Certification program.
• Willing to adhere to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate grooming equipment to smooth out snow surface to provide for quality skiing and riding.
• Maintain snow surface to ensure snow quality throughout the season.
• Receive direction from Mountain Manager regarding grooming logs, ramp maintenance, and other needs for the operating shift.
• Perform daily inspections on equipment prior to use to ensure safe operation.
• Responsible for the safe operation of grooming equipment.
• Report any malfunctions immediately to mechanic.
• Responsible for completion of training program and adhering to those standards.
