Job summary

Bolton Valley Resort seeks a Snow Groomer to operate a snow cat and groom alpine trails for safe, enjoyable skiing. This full-time seasonal role supports Mountain Operations during winter.

You will log daily tasks, inspect equipment, perform basic repairs, and report issues. A valid driver’s license and 2–3 years of heavy equipment grooming experience are required, with mechanical aptitude and comfort working in cold conditions.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience operating heavy equipment or prior grooming experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Mechanical aptitude for simple repairs and inspections

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (groomer) to groom Alpine trails to acceptable and safe skiing/riding conditions
• Log daily tasks at the end of the shift, noting unusual circumstances and potential safety issues
• Visually inspect equipment and address any maintenance issues (fluid levels, etc.) prior to use
• Address simple equipment malfunctions as needed while grooming, and notify supervisor and/or vehicle maintenance crew of more serious mechanical functions
• All Bolton Valley employees may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed
