Pet Supplies Plus is currently seeking Experienced Groomers to join our team in Stroudsburg, PA. If you love making pets look and smell fantastic, this role offers opportunities to perform grooming, bathing, and styling per owner instructions while prioritizing pet safety and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of grooming experience with formal training certification, can lift up to 50 pounds, and are flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ year grooming experience with formal training certification and/or experience under an established certified groomer.
• Ability to move or lift merchandise, equipment or pets weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Performance of routine grooming tasks and adherence to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Delighting neighbors and pets with grooming services, like brushing, bathing, and conditioning.
• Grooming and styling pets per owners’ instruction and/or according to breed standards.
• Ensuring the wellness and safety of furry patrons at all times.
• Building long-term relationships with pet parents by understanding their needs and recommending products and services.
• Engaging in community outreach to attract new neighbors into the store.
