Job summary

Petsense by Tractor Supply in Jasper, GA is seeking a Grooming Assistant to provide professional services for dogs and cats, using established grooming styles and techniques. You will interact with customers, schedule appointments, and ensure safe, clean grooming environments.

Responsibilities include handling animals, following the 7-point check-in, and maintaining grooming tools and spaces. A high school diploma and grooming training are preferred; prior grooming experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to deliver friendly, helpful service to customers.
• 1+ year grooming/styling experience with pets.
• Capable of handling dogs and cats comfortably.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service.
• Follow and demonstrate Petsense by Tractor Supply Mission and Values.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work varied hours, days, nights, weekends and overtime as needed.
• Answer phone and schedule appointments.
• Assist in generating business through appointment follow-ups and reminders.
• Book appointments and greet pets on arrival.
• Complete 7-point check-in and required grooming forms.
• Follow safety rules and sanitize grooming tools.
