Job summary

Petco is seeking a professional Pet Stylist/Groomer in West Chester, PA to deliver expert grooming services—bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and gland care—for our valued clients and their pets. You will ensure safety, comfort, and excellent customer service while following Petco grooming standards.

We offer a competitive base pay plus a $500 Sign-On Bonus after 90 days and a $1,000 Retention Bonus after one year of consecutive employment, plus benefits including

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the Pet Stylist Apprentice program or equivalent grooming experience.
• High-school diploma or GED preferred, though not required.
• Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts and styling, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and gland cleaning.
• Operate and maintain grooming instruments such as clippers, blades, shears, brushes and dryers.
• Prioritize safety and well-being of pets while delivering excellent customer service and grooming recommendations.
• Train, support, and supervise entry-level trainees when needed by the grooming team.
