Job summary

Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. is seeking a Pet Stylist/Groomer to deliver expert grooming services for a variety of breeds. You will bathe, trim, and style dogs and maintain the salon's safety and cleanliness while providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Completion of the Pet Stylist Apprentice program or equivalent grooming training.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Proven grooming experience with animals and knowledge of breed standards.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, cuts and styling.
• Ensure safety, comfort, and wellbeing of pets; monitor for distress and report concerns.
• Interact with pet parents to offer grooming recommendations and care tips.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized grooming area and equipment; follow policies.
• Assist and supervise trainees when needed and support salon leadership.
