Job summary

Destination Pet, LLC is seeking a groomer to trim and style dogs to breed standards and owner preferences. You will bathe, trim nails, and chat with pet parents to ensure top quality care.

The position offers a morning shift option (7am–9am), a competitive hourly rate, and opportunities to advance within a caring, pet-loving team. We provide professional equipment, a sign-on bonus, and a benefits package for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Professional grooming experience is required.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and manage large or nervous dogs safely.
• Exposure to fur, cleaning chemicals, wet pups, accidents and unpredictable zoomies is guaranteed.
• Must be able to work in a physically active environment with heat, cold, water, and noise.
• More than 4 years of professional grooming experience.

Responsibilities

• Snipping, shaping, and styling pets based on owner preferences or breed standards.
• Trimming nails, cleaning ears, brushing teeth, and tidying up the tail end.
• Bathing dogs (or coordinating with bathers to prep pets for grooming).
• Chatting with pet parents about grooming needs, coat care, and what’s trending in tails.
• Keeping your station neat, your tools sharp, and your vibe fresh.
• Providing a calm, kind, safe experience for every animal in your care.
