Destination Pet's Two Ponds Pet Lodge in Colorado is seeking a skilled groomer ready to work with a variety of breeds and coat types. You’ll snip, shape, trim nails, and chat with pet parents while delivering safe, high-quality grooming.

The role offers flexible scheduling, a mix of commission-based pay with a sign-on bonus, and access to full benefits for full-time staff. Expect a busy, hands-on environment where you’ll lift, stand for long periods, and manage nervous dogs with care.

Qualifications

• Professional grooming experience is required.
• Proven experience grooming a wide range of breeds and coat types.
• Time management, attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset.
• Familiarity with pet behavior, stress signals, and safe handling practices.
• You communicate clearly—with clients, teammates, and even the pets.

Responsibilities

• Snipping, shaping, and styling pets based on owner preferences or breed standards.
• Trimming nails, cleaning ears, brushing teeth, and tidying up the tail end.
• Bathing dogs (or working with bathers to prep pets for grooming).
• Chatting with pet parents about grooming needs, coat care, and what’s trending in tails.
• Keeping your station neat, your tools sharp, and your vibe fresh.
