Job summary

Pet Supplies Plus in Concord, NC is seeking an Experienced Groomer who loves pets and people. In this commission-based role with a $1,500 sign-on bonus for new groomers with 1+ years of experience, you’ll groom, bathe and style pets while delivering friendly neighborly service.

You will build lasting relationships with pet parents, follow breed standards, maintain a safe grooming space, and participate in training and career growth opportunities. Evening/weekend availability required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year grooming experience with formal training or under an established groomer.
• Must provide your own grooming equipment (clippers/blades/scissors).
• Able to move or lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Candidates must pass the drug screening and be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Delight neighbors and pets with grooming services, including brushing, bathing and conditioning.
• Groom pets per owner instructions and breed standards while ensuring safety.
• Develop long-term relationships with pet parents and suggest products and services.
• Engage with store neighbors and participate in community outreach.
• Maintain a clean grooming area and assist team during downtime.
