Overview

Does your dog have a closet full of clothes? Is your cat so cool he needs to wear shades? We call that “petcentricity”! If you enjoy making pets look adorable and smell irresistible, we are looking for Experienced Groomers to join our pack!

• $1,500 sign-on bonus for new groomer hires with 1+ years of experience!*

Responsibilities and Qualifications

As an experienced Groomer at Pet Supplies Plus, you will:

• Delight neighbors and pets with grooming services like brushing, bathing, and conditioning
• Groom and style pets according to owner instructions and breed standards
• Ensure the wellness and safety of furry patrons
• Build long-term relationships with pet parents and recommend products and services
• Engage in community outreach to attract new neighbors
• Complete safety training certification
• Maintain a clean and inviting grooming environment
• Assist store team during grooming downtime
• Develop your skills and grow your career

Key qualifications include:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of grooming experience with formal training certification or under an established certified groomer
• Ability to lift pets and equipment up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, bend, or stoop for extended periods
• Own grooming equipment (clippers, scissors, etc.)
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Pass drug screening (if applicable) and be 18 or older
