Cahaba-Valley-Animal-Clinic is seeking a friendly Pet Groomer to join our Grooming department in Birmingham, Alabama. The role involves performing grooming services, bathing pets, and ensuring they look their best while following owners' instructions.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of grooming experience, own grooming tools, and a patient, caring approach toward animals. A qualification interview will be conducted at our location, and multiple shifts are possible to fit a 3-day-a-week

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year grooming experience.
• Available a minimum of 3 days per week.
• Must have grooming tools on hand.
• Maintain patience with animals.
• Must pass a qualification interview at our location.

Responsibilities

• Perform grooming services per customer instructions, ensuring the safety and well-being of animals.
• Bathing animals of various sizes and temperaments.
• Trimming, clipping, and/or shaving hair/fur, and removing matted hair.
• Providing before and after pictures of your work.
• Providing excellent customer service to our clients.
• Managing temperamental pets.
• Nail trimmings and ear cleanings.
• Occasional teeth cleanings.

The Pet Groomer is responsible for performing all grooming-related duties necessary to ensure that pets are neat, clean, and look their best. To be successful as a pet groomer, you should be able to comply with pet owners' instructions as well as accommodate any special requests that they may have. Ultimately, a top-notch Pet Groomer will treat all animals with the utmost love and care.
