Pet Supplies Plus is hiring a Bather/Student Groomer (Groom Tech) in New Jersey to support grooming services and learn through Paragon School of Pet Grooming. You’ll start with bathing, brushing, and nail trims, while training toward becoming a groomer.

The role emphasizes safety, neighborly service, and building relationships with pets and owners. Eligible candidates must be at least 18 and pass a drug screening, with some weekend/evening flexibility.

Competenze

• Experience in retail or other industry working with pets, but not required.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to move or lift merchandise, equipment or pets weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend or stoop for extended periods of time.
• Ability to review videos and take tests online.
• Flexibility in working evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Candidates must pass a drug screening (in applicable states) and validated selection test and be at least 18 years old.

• Performing routine cleaning to keep the grooming environment fun and inviting.
• Successfully completing Safety Training certification.
• Assisting store team members during grooming downtime.
