Job summary

ADUSA Distribution is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support the distribution center’s shipping and receiving functions. You will help move product accurately and safely through the facility, handling a variety of items from grocery to dairy and meat products.

Responsibilities include loading and palletizing orders, operating pallet jacks and forklifts, documenting tasks, and adhering to sanitation and safety standards in a fast-paced environment. Prior distribution experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school education required.
• Comfort with data entry on computer.
• Experience in distribution environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping and receiving tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Complete shipping/receiving documents accurately.
• Select and palletize grocery, produce, meat, frozen and dairy orders for shipment.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
• Perform pre-operational checks of equipment.
• Maintain clean, sanitary work area; follow safety practices.
• Suggest process improvements to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
