Job summary

Kroger Great Lakes Distribution Center in Layton, UT is seeking a warehouse associate to accurately fill store orders. You will read orders, pick items, build pallets, and coordinate with shipping while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Ideal candidates will have basic reading/writing, arithmetic skills, and a willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed. This on-site role offers growth within a large distribution network and exposure to diverse processes.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Ability to present information clearly to customers, clients, and coworkers
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic in all units of measure
• Ability to follow detailed but not complex written or oral instructions
• Ability to handle a few concrete variables in standardized situations
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Willingness to move with purpose and urgency
• Ability to work weekends regularly
• Ability to work overtime regularly
• Familiarity with distribution center terms and processes
• Ability to meet production standards
• High school diploma or GED plus 1 year of experience
