Responsibilities

• Keeps fresh and appealing displays by front-facing, stocking, rotating and removing outdated products.
• Stocks and cleans grocery shelves, bulk bins, frozen and dairy cases.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to buyers, team leaders, and shift supervisor.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling program, keeping sample areas full, clean and appealing.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Arrives on time, groomed and ready to work; attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Follows and complies with health, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working/shopping environment; maintains equipment to standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures accuracy of signs and pricing.
• Immediately reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
