Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking entry-level Team Members to support Grocery operations, including stocking, rotation, and customer service. You will help maintain displays, ensure product quality, and assist with sampling programs while following store SOPs.

The role emphasizes teamwork, health and safety, and a flexible schedule to meet store needs. No prior retail experience is required, and benefits are provided for full- and part-time team members.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Standing 6-8 hours, active throughout shifts.
• Able to work flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Maintain clean, sanitary, and safe work conditions.

Responsibilities

• Ensures fresh, appealing displays; front faces, rotates stock, checks codes.
• Stocks grocery shelves, bulk bins, dairy and frozen cases.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to team.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling areas; keeps them clean and appealing.
• Completes spoilage, sampling and temperature worksheets.
• Participates in periodic inventory checks.
• Arrives on time; participates in trainings and meetings.
• Delivers excellent customer service; uses suggestive selling.
• Maximizes sales through proper prep, storage, and merchandising.
• Follows health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment and proper signage.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
• Reports safety hazards and violations immediately.
• Performs other duties as directed by leadership.
