Responsibilities

• Maintain fresh and appealing displays by front-facing, stocking, rotating, and removing out-of-date products.
• Stock and clean grocery shelves, bulk bins, frozen and dairy cases.
• Monitor spoilage and communicate waste to buyers and shift supervisors.
• Maintain back stock in good order.
• Assist with sampling program and keep areas clean and appealing.
• Complete spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
• Assist with periodic inventory checks.
• Arrive on time, groomed and ready to work; complete required trainings.
• Provide excellent customer service and use suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximize sales through proper prep, storage, rotation and merchandising of products.
• Follow procedures for health and safety, and maintain clean, sanitary work areas and equipment.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties and ensure accurate pricing.
