Job summary

Whole Foods Market seeks a capable leader to manage store merchandising, vendor relations, and team supervision. You will collaborate with the Team Leader to hit sales, purchasing, and labor targets while guiding daily operations.

The role requires strong product knowledge, people management, and the ability to coach others to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Flexibility for nights and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Retail Team Member experience: 18+ months with 6+ months supervisory exposure.
• Strong leadership and team development abilities.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Product knowledge and vendor relations.
• Regulatory and safety policy familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains creative store layout and product merchandising.
• Works with Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
• Assists Team Leader in analysis of sales, reports and labor.
• Demonstrates advanced product knowledge and develops/maintains awareness of new products.
• Maintains vendor relationships and ensures required paperwork is submitted.
• Leads and supports team issues, acting as point person when Team Leader is absent.
• Sets and achieves high standards of retail execution and customer flow management.
• Mentors Team Members to sustain a high-performance team and minimize turnover.
• Provides timely performance evaluations and communicates the company vision.
