Job summary

Giant Eagle in Carmel, IN seeks a Senior Team Leader to coach and develop a high-performing team in our grocery operation. You will interview, train, and direct Team Members while promoting inclusion, diversity and a positive work environment.

You will oversee budgeting, inventory, safety, and compliance, analyze reports, and partner with merchandising to execute promotions. A background in retail leadership and 3–5 years of management experience is required.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of management experience in grocery operations or retail.
• Customer service experience required.
• Knowledge of Giant Eagle procedures and company operations.
• Ability to read and interpret Profit and Loss statements.
• Education: high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Interview, select and train team members.
• Direct and supervise team members' work.
• Manage department budget and inventory.
• Ensure safety and security of team members and store.
• Monitor compliance and implement corrective actions.
• Establish an ongoing communication plan with the team.
