Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's degree with 3–4 years of progressive supermarket management experience and a commitment to a high-level customer experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3-4 years progressive supermarket management experience.

Responsibilities

• Implements in-store sales-building culture with merchandising programs and weekly sales plans.
• Ensures customer satisfaction with front-end service commitment.
• Accountable for achieving budgeted financial results.
• Protects assets: merchandise, cash, facilities and equipment; conducts weekly audits.
• Controls store expenses and wage percent to meet budget.
• Staffing: forecast needs, recruit, train, and develop hi-potential talent.
• Set performance expectations and review performance with staff.
• Monitor store conditions with frequent store walks.
• Train and develop store management team for sustained growth.
• Maintain sanitation and food safety standards across the store.
• Foster positive morale and customer-focused selling culture.
• Communicate effectively with District Manager and staff.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and policies.
• Maintain a safe facility for customers and employees.
