Job summary

Leevers Supermarkets, Inc. is seeking a Grocery Retail Associate (Store Clerk) to support daily store operations, cashiering, stocking, and assisting customers in a fast-paced environment.

You will operate a cash register, stock merchandise across departments, unload deliveries, and maintain clean, safe conditions while upholding display standards. High school diploma required; bilingual in Spanish and English preferred; prior retail or grocery experience and cash handling skills are a plus;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred bilingual Spanish and English.
• Prior retail or grocery experience.
• Cash handling or POS experience.
• Ability to tailor messaging to meet the needs of diverse customers and team members.
• Takes initiative and completes work with speed and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate a cash register accurately following all checkout and cash-handling procedures.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service, addressing complaints and feedback effectively.
• Report to scheduled shifts on time and prepared to work.
• Stock, rotate, and maintain merchandise across departments.
• Assist with unloading delivery trucks and organizing product.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized store conditions including sales floor, restrooms, backroom, displays, and parking lot.
• Retrieve shopping carts and maintain entrance areas.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Ensure proper product signage, pricing, and display standards.
• Support other departments and complete additional duties as assigned.
• Must Adhere to a uniform dress code.
