Price Rite of Main St. in Bridgeport, CT is seeking a part-time Stocking Clerk to maintain presentation, price, stock and checkout accuracy. You will work in a fast-paced grocery environment, rotate merchandise and assist customers.

This role requires reading English, basic math, cash handling, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Part-time hours typically include days, evenings and weekends, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Read, write, speak, analyze and understand English.
• Basic math skills.
• Make change with US currency.
• Stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Adhere to health and civil code regulations.
• Operate equipment as required (case cutter, U-Boats).
• Lift up to 25 lbs regularly; up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Provide customers with superior service.
• Maintain neat appearance and observe dress code.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
• Check products received against an invoice.
• Use a slicing machine and related equipment where applicable.
• Prepare and replenish product for sale in any department.
• Operate the cash register and handle payments accurately.
