Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly interactions with all guests and hosts.
• Stock, rotate, and condition all grocery products on shelves according to standards and productivity guidelines.
• Maintain a neat and safe work area to ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
• Organize and inventory backstock in the backroom area.
• Minimize damage and shrink through proper inventory control and product handling.
• Assist with unloading and verifying merchandise upon delivery.
• Maintain sanitation standards on the sales floor and in the backroom.
• Report temperature issues to supervisors, especially for dairy and frozen foods.
• Perform front-end duties as needed to ensure minimal wait times.
• Order products for aisles as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. constantly and 60 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information and directions.
• Knowledge of grocery operations.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Effective communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to bend, kneel, stand, push/pull carts, and operate a pallet jack for extended periods.
