Job summary

Festival Foods is seeking a Grocery Clerk I in Mount Pleasant, WI. This part-time role focuses on stocking, customer service, and store presentation to create a welcoming shopping experience. You’ll help keep shelves stocked, assist guests, and support inventory through the grocery department.

The role requires a helpful attitude, teamwork, safety awareness, and the ability to operate equipment with training provided. Weekend availability is common in retail environments.

Qualifications

• A helpful attitude and a commitment to excellent guest service.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to work efficiently and effectively with others.
• Awareness of safety requirements and policies, including proper lifting techniques and box cutter safety.
• Ability to operate equipment such as power jacks, forklift, walk-behind lifts, balers, and compactors (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Provide Helpful Service: Interact with guests, greet customers, answer questions and address concerns professionally.
• Stock & Display: Stock aisles, ensure products are fresh, in-date, rotated, and well-maintained.
• Offer Assistance: Help guests locate products and provide suggestions when appropriate.
• Receiving & Inventory Support: Unload deliveries, organize stock, and maintain accurate inventory.
• Collaboration: Work with the Grocery Department Manager and team to meet goals.
• Clean & Organize: Keep the department clean, sanitized, and orderly.
• Problem-Solving: Address guest concerns with care and professionalism.
• Meet Goals: Ensure shelves are stocked by designated times.
• Honor Commitments: Maintain regular attendance and provide notice for absences.
• Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.
