The role involves stocking, inventory support, customer assistance, receiving deliveries, and collaborating with the department team. Scheduling may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Helpful attitude with commitment to excellent guest service.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Awareness of safety requirements and proper lifting techniques.
• Ability to operate equipment such as power jacks, forklift, walk-behind lifts, balers, and compactors (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Provide helpful service by greeting guests, answering questions and addressing concerns.
• Stock and display: keep aisles stocked, ensure products are fresh and in-date.
• Assist guests locating products and offering alternatives when appropriate.
• Receive deliveries, organize stock, and maintain inventory levels.
• Collaborate with Grocery Department Manager and team to meet goals.
• Keep the department clean, organized, and well-maintained.
• Address guest concerns with care and professionalism.
• Meet stocking goals by designated times.
• Attend to schedule and communicate absences.
• Support the team with other duties as assigned.
