Qualifications

• A helpful attitude and a commitment to excellent guest service.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to work efficiently and effectively with others.
• Awareness of safety requirements and policies, including proper lifting techniques and box cutter safety.
• Ability to operate equipment such as power jacks, fork lift, walk-behind lifts, balers, and compactors (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Provide helpful service: greet guests, answer questions, and address concerns with professionalism.
• Stock & Display: stock aisles, ensure products are fresh, in-date, rotated, and well-stocked.
• Offer Assistance: help guests locate products on/off sales floor and provide recommendations.
• Receiving & Inventory Support: unload deliveries, organize stock, and maintain inventory levels.
• Collaboration: work with the Grocery Department Manager and team to meet goals.
• Clean & Organize: keep department clean, sanitized, and well-maintained.
• Problem-Solving: address guest concerns with care and professionalism.
• Meet Goals: ensure shelves are fully stocked by designated times.
• Honor Commitments: maintain regular attendance and provide notice for absences.
• Support the Team: perform other duties as assigned.
